08 Dec Ted Williams Foundation Donates to SLAMDiabetes Bucket Raffle
The Ted Williams Foundation announced that it will be sponsoring the Silent Auction and Bucket Raffles at the Sam Fuld Tampa Classic and various SLAMDiabetes WIFFLE ball tournaments in 2015.
Tony Penna, Director of Florida Operations for the foundation, said it all kicks off with the Sam Fuld Tampa Classic on Saturday, December 13, 2014.
“We’re excited about the opportunity to support SLAMDiabetes and Sam Fuld in their partnership to improve the lives of those living with Type 1 diabetes. The Ted Williams Foundation will be donating some great memorabilia to various SLAMDiabetes tournaments, starting with the Sam Fuld Tampa Classic here. The SLAMDiabetes WIFFLE ball tournaments are amazing events. Next year, we want to enter a team to get in on the action!”
The Bucket Raffle at the SLAMDiabetes Sam Fuld Tampa Classic will offer cool sports memorabilia of numerous teams and players, so make sure you stop by to check it all out!

100 Tickets/ $70.00
- Place as few or as many tickets as you would like in the bucket for the item that you are bidding on.
- At 1:45pm, a ticket will be randomly drawn from each bucket for each item to declare a winner.
- At 2pm, we will announce that the winners have been drawn. Ticket holders will be instructed to return to raffle tables to check and see if their winning ticket was drawn. Item can be claimed when winning ticket is turned in.
