Memorial Day is our national holiday to remember and honor our military personnel who have died in service to our country.
While flowers are laid in cemeteries and parades proceed down the main streets of towns and cities across our country, we also enjoy our longstanding tradition of picnics, barbecues and block parties with family, friends and neighbors. These gatherings often include games of wiffle or stick ball, bocce, badminton or many others. Let's take some of those moments between meals and play, conversation and catch-up to honor our fallen and their families by thinking on their sacrifices made for us and our country.
